The newly thatched roof of Hotel Riu Jambo is located on the north coast of Zanzibar by the turquoise waters of Nungwi Beach, one of the most beautiful spots on the island to watch the incredible sunset.

In a gorgeous natural setting, this all-inclusive hotel in Zanzibar is the perfect place to escape from the daily grind, relax and disconnect.

Fiber Thatch has partnered with Hotel Riu Jambo to help them create a thatched roof with an authentic-looking synthetic palm thatch finish of high quality for their iconic beach restaurant and bar.

It is truly a beautiful sight to behold with the strong contrasting turquoise oceans and white surrounding beaches! After a month-long installation and a looming deadline, we can proudly say that this project has the Fiber Thatch stamp of completion!

The owners of this hotel will have one less headache when it comes to this thatched roof.

This thatched roof was previously thatched with a natural palm leaf finish. As seen in this picture it did not last long against the tropical climate and rain.

The leaf exterior started to rot and decay, this caused an unappealing situation for the restaurant and bar. Not only do decaying leaves not look nice it causes more problems like dust and insect infestation.
