More than 200 Resorts and Hotels in more than 50 countries have used Fiber Thatch, but we have so far done very little in the Pacific Ocean. One of the reasons was that our policies demand to only sell in areas where we have installers and can provide service and backup.
For the past 5 years, Fiber Roofing has been working with Thierry Hardy, CEO of A.C.G.M. Thierry has been visiting the Fiber Roofing factory in South Africa and has played a vital role in developing and improving our Fiber Thatch.
In 2019 the final test was when A.C.G.M did a turnkey resort development at Lifou Island, New Caledonia.

The new-build InterContinental Lifou Wadra Bay Resort will be a 50-room luxury hotel located on the scenic Lifou, the largest island of the Loyalty Islands.
A project still in progress and delayed due to the pandemic but what an astounding sight it will be once completed. This project unique in its architectural feature will be finished off with our Fiber Reed Synthetic Thatch Tiles, a more traditional thatch look associated with this tropical region.
Crown Beach & Spa Resort Rarotonga
Set on 5 acres of lovely gardens, the adults-only Crown Resort & Spa, offers luxurious suites and villas with balconies in tranquil surroundings with access to the beach. It features 2 restaurants, a scuba dive center, a fitness center, and an outdoor swimming pool.
This ± 2300 m² project is another excellent example of the various styles you can achieve with your roof line. A drooping eave finish is a beautiful rustic finish to a traditional Fiber Reed Synthetic Thatch Roof.
